Call it the first time kind of luck, but everyone is sparkling jewelry design Kelsey Quan. And it's pretty hard to miss him. Spring in bold, neon colors popping up everywhere, the climate is just right Quan collection of colored objects.
Trained as a hairdresser and stylist, Quan eye and the eclectic mix of bold patterns helped his debut collection of handicrafts. Each necklace has a playful combination of a leather rope, mesh, natural stones, leather and snake, which are a welcome break gothic and heavy metal songs, which have dominated the market for the supply of late.
"I like when people get excited to take my jewelry," said Quan. "I love seeing people's reactions. It really shows on their faces and how they are doing. It's very satisfying to see people appreciate the hard work I put into what each special necklace."
In fact, all that work has been enthusiastically received almost instantaneously during the last Fashion Week in New York. Encouraged by the positive response Quan were inspired to launch a collection in itself. "I could not believe the welcome I received," says a modest initial recognition of Quan, "was a real wake up call for me." Quan has since created an e-commerce site with her signature necklaces and Treasure Tree illustrated by Elyse Saunders and is was presented at Elle.com the blog as an accessories designer to watch and in the New York Times and IntoTheGloss. com. The future Kelsey Quan looks refreshingly bold and bright.
